I have a 1998 Grand Prix GT 3.8L that is in need of the external part of the transmission wiring harness and GM no longer makes the part. Will the part from another Pontiac vehicle fit?

I could get a used part from a 2002 Grand Prix SE but am unsure if it will fit.

Try rockauto. com or your local auto parts store. If that fails, as long as it's from another '98 or so GM vehicle with the same transmission it should work. Emphasis on should. HTH. -Jim
