Value of 1998 Pontiac Gtp 40th anniversary edition supercharged pace car
I have found a 1998 Pontiac Gtp 40th anniversary edition supercharged pace
car.The car has over 200,000 miles but runs and drives.I am unsure of the
value of these cars.Interior is nice for its age.The body has some dents and
dings but nothing major. The asking price is 1800.
Go to NADAGUIDE.com and run it,it will give you the value of it.
I'm not sure what CarLand is talking about. ( I accidentally clicked the "helpful" button on his post even though its not helpful at all so I guess he gets an unearned bonus point) The 3.8 is an extremely reliable engine and frequently goes 200,000 miles and more with very few issues. However having said that, 200,000 miles is the upper limit for all modern cars and any car with that kind of mileage is nearing the end of its life. Unless this car is in mint condition its probably worth about half what they're asking. If you plan to drive it you'll need to put lots of money into it to keep it running and driving decently. Only you can decide if you have the budget and the enthusiasm to make this a satisfying car to own.
