1997 Pontiac Grand Prix Fixer Upper (selling price?)
I have a 1997 grand prix that i dont drive anymore and im looking to sell privately for some extra cash. I havent drove it in 3 years and has alot of issues but it does run and have a good motor.
- Needs new break lines
- Electric Issues (windows, radios, ect) dont work. could be a fuse
- Tires probably arent the greatest shape but hold air
Probably not alot of info but what would a good price be. it would be a great fixer upper for someone who wanted to put time to it. or a good parts car. Can someone give me a good price to sell? I was thinking $200-$350. Thank you. all suggestions will help.
It is certainly worth what you are thinking $200 to $350. I would post it in a classified site and ask $400 or best offer. The scrap value is probably $200.
It is much bigger headache than people think(getting rid of a car like this), with steel prices being as low as they are, can't get much for it at the junk yard. Consider donating it. At the end of the year, you will be able to write off full retail value of it. It ought to be booking close to $2,600. Good luck.
It's not booking anywhere near $2600. It's a $400 car at best. Ask that and take the first offer over $25. You won't get a lot of chances to sell a car like that.
