how do I know if my thermostat is bad?

usually when the fans won't come on, it's the fan temp switch. Most times if it's the fan temp switch you can unplug it and the fans will come on. Make sure you are clear of the fans when you unplug the sensor!

You know when thermostat is bad when your top radiator hose stays,tight when hot,and or coolant pushes out the radiator cap back in to the resivoir.
