I have a 1994 pontiac grand prix SE that it will turn over but will not start
Check the basics. Pull an ignition wire and check for spark. If no, you have a lot of tracing to do. Spark is controlled by the computer based on signals from a number of sensors, and any one of them could be at fault. If you have spark, then check for fuel. The easiest way is to spray a little starting fluid in the air filter box. If it starts but won't run, you have a fuel problem. Injectors, fuel filter, fuel pump, are the first places to look. If the car was running fine before, and suddenly won't start, it's usually electrical.
I'd start with the fuel pump. They fail without warning all the time. Turn the key to the run position without trying to start the car. If the pump is working you will hear it hum for a few seconds till it builds fuel pressure. If all is silent you've likely found your problem.
