Car sputters and dies just replaced the plugs and fuel filter

Sounds like maybe a failed fuel pump. Can you hear it running when you turn the key to the run position without starting the car? If not then that's likely your problem. You can also have the fuel pressure checked to be sure its getting gas. And, of course scanning for trouble codes is always useful.
