is there problems with the fuel pump going out alot in the 91 models?

Hi valAZcg! I can't find a buzz on the net about such a problem that model year in particular. I also can't find any recall information about fuel pumps in the 1991 Grand Prix. That doesn't mean there isn't a pattern however and I expect you know already that that vintage of Grand Prix isn't exactly known for it's reliability and sturdiness. If you are looking for factory relief from your problem there doesn't seem to be enough evidence to support that kind of claim. Keep asking around however, the mechanics in the trenches may know more. Good luck!
