My 2004 grand am will not start.Not the security light. no power to starter.

is there power at all? do the gauges come on? what is the voltage at the battery?

so you did try another key and your security light comes on then goes out like normal I would check battery like pride says . then if ok i would have some one turn the key smack the starter with a hammer on the side as the key is held in crank. still nothing let us know
