Can a Pontiac Grand am 4 cylinder and 6
cylinder gas tank coincide if a person would
need to change it one to the other?

The tank will probably fit OK but the fuel pump inside the tank might not provide enough pressure/flow if you don't swap the pump as well (if you are putting the 4 cyl tank in a 6 cyl car).
