blower doesn't work what amp is the fuse?

Asked by Nov 22, 2013 at 03:00 PM about the 2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My diagram from the side of the glove box reads HVAC HI 30A, when reading on line it
states that it should be a 15 amp. Plus, I understand that there may be a fuse under the
hood relating to the blower motor also. My 1 and 2 speed hasn't worked for years now
nothing works.

this is from a 2007, but perhaps the fuse is in the same location~

the engine compartment (take 2)...had to get my glasses...blew it up to 200 percent and still could not read it...this one is better~

okay fuses 52 and 54 are the ones you need to look at...the roadmap should be on the lid there~

that one is NOT better~

The 30 amp fuse, under the hood, is for high blower speed only. The other speeds are fused seperatly. HTH. - Jim
