my car wouldn't start when the weather is warm or hot outside

Its starts fine when the weather is cool or raining outside , can you please tell me what
could cause that

If it was the other way around or if you'd have said "when engine is hot" I'd have some suggestion(s).But it likes lousy weather and not moderate or hot weather?? must be an English car in Nevada desert.
