overheated now will start to start but will not completely turnover.

Remove the spark plugs and then see if it will crank over and watch to see what cylinders coolant is blown out of.

Interesting diagnostic, tennisshoes. Never tried it but I'll store it in my bag of tricks for a later date. Thanks for the advice.
