How do I get my daytime running lights to shut off
in my car

There is a blue wire behind the interior fuse panel--- disconnect that wire and you're all good! Check this out--- https://m.youtube.com/watch? v=-1Car4RCamE

Turn the knob from auto one click forward to park. This should shut your headlights off while driving during the day. No cutting of wires.

Just for clarification- you want all of your lights off when driving unless you're driving at night, right?
