i have a pontiac grand am i was driving it last week with no problem i went to cut it off to wash clothes and it refuse to crank it turned over but did not catch .

someone told me it was the fuel pump, I got it replace to find out that wasn't the problem it still did not start. Can someone tell me what's wrong with my two door Pontiac?

If you have fuel pressure the next thing is to check for spark. Diagnose the problem before throwing parts at the car and hope you fix it.
