Where is the photo sensor located on a 2001 Pontiac Grand AM GT V6?
I posted the question about cluster lights not lighting up in the daytime. Mechanic and GM said that was never a function. The GM people told the dealer's mechanic to cover the photo sensor and I want to know where that lives.
The dash is now lit up.
My question: does anyone owning or knowing my subject car know whether those lights lit up in the daytime?
If I'm losing it or going "blind" I would not be having this issue. In the gray skies of the Midwest I can barely see the speedometer when trees are overhead on country roads.
my photo sensor is on the dash. looks kinda like a security led thing. i drive a conwuest though. look in the book for your car.
Nothing on the dash of this car. Nothing in the Owner's Manual either. Thanks for answering.
cowdough, Sorry, put my comment in the wrong place, I think.
