How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor A for 2000 Grand AM SE1
Where is the Crankshaft Position Sensor "A" located for a 2000 Grand AM SE1 4 Cylinder car?
Any help is appreciated.
I figured it out. Its right above the oil filter. It's a pain to get to but that's where it is.
In case you are still not sure this video will help you understand where it is. I hope this helps anyone else looking for this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_7_CoGdEBc
Just reporting back on the fix. Looks like even after replacing the crankshaft position sensor the car is still shutting off now. I had it scanned at the shot and they told me that there is a code coming up about the anti theft. Not sure what that is about. I have the original key for the car. Has anyone else seen this type of issue where the anti theft code shows up when you scan the car using an OBD reader and got it fixed? Any help is appreciated.
