Why does my Grand Am sitting at a light starts to vibrate when I have the brake press down
I have a brand new tune up new wires new plugs 1
motor mount was replaced and still when I sit at a
stoplight with the brake pressed down the engine
starts vibrating or the whole car starts vibrating
you can feel it vibrating real bad in the steering
wheel what would cause this on a Pontiac Grand
Am 2000 SE
The only thing that could cause it is a misfiring engine. The engine shakes so the whole car shakes. You'll have to keep looking for the cause of the misfire, it clearly wasn't just the plugs/wires.
I jumped the gun on saying it is a misfire, you could just have a really rough idle.
Check the brake booster check valve.
