I have a 15 gallon tank

Probably less than 20 in the city.

a good guess would be 19 with Shell gas, 16 with BP as it varies with many factors and brands, as the cars improve on mpg ,the fuel degrades with things like alcohol dilution , poor refining processes . there's winter and summer fuel, some tires will steal .two to three miles per gallon from roll resistance and so on I could go on and on. just don't fill it to the very top and have no airspace to let the E-vap breath .OK!

I get an average of 22-25, if the oil is regularly changed.. fuel system is clean and tires got good pressure and alignment is in good shape. There are other factors including light acceleration and how traffic is.
