Your car was made just before, in my opinion, GM went down the toilet. They were still making good cars and trucks at a high quality level. There were no blowing head gaskets, intake manifold gasket failures, transmission failures, electrical problems that can't be fixed, etc., etc., etc. Things like these, that today are common, were unheard of. Except for vehicles that were beaten, abused, or downright neglected. This was, again in my opinion, GMs last hoorah! With continued proper maintenance you can expect at least another 20,000 miles. It may even hit the 300,000 mile mark! These were good cars, built to last! Nothing like the GM junk that came later! HTH. -Jim
