Turn signals work then slowly stop working

Asked by craiglamont509 Dec 09, 2017 at 05:26 PM about the 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 2 Dr SL Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I use my turn signals they work but over the
course of driving slow down and then stop blinking
all together. If replaced the flasher and checked my
fuses and they are fine. I don't know what else
could be causing it because like I previously stated
they work but slowly stop working.

It still sounds like a flasher issue to me. Are you sure you changed the right one? There's also a flasher for your emergency flasher. I'd go back and have a second look at it to make sure its not still the problem. Also have you added anything to the car's electrical system that might be robbing power from the signal light circuit?
