94 Cutlass Supreme SL gauge lights never come on...?

None of the lights will work for any of my gauges. The low oil and coolant and ABS warning lights on the
bottom.of the cluster all work, but none of the gauges themselves ever light up. Flying blind at night here.
Ideas? Help?

It's a 1994 2 door SL btw. Not just an S model, but an SL, if that matters. Just bought it yesterday. Also, the brake lights don't come on when I hit the pedal either I just realized. Driving lights in the back light up just fine when I turn my headlights on, but no change in brightness when I touch the pedal.
