What color is the smoke and where is it emanating from? The tailpipe, under the car or the engine bay?

you car may have bad valve seals or a bad ventilation valve. check the pcv valve also. what engine do you have?

it's white smoke coming from the engine bay and under the car. i increased the coolant to water ratio and it doesnt smoke as often. im not sure on the engine model i just know its a v6 2.8L...i usually select the AFC when buying parts

If the smoke is not coming from the pipe, then you must have an oil leak maybe the valve cover seal and oil is getting on the headers. You must look for oil on your engine bay to make sure.
