Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport with a broken motorized antenna. I want to just replace it with a regular antenna. Is it as simple as taking the motorized on off and putting the regular one?

Yep, just remove all the motorized stuff and put in the regular antenna, note that some antenna connectors might require an adapter most parts stores have them if you need one.
