I agree with Tom. Keep all maintenance up to date (timing belts and pullies if applicable) and she will last for ever. Drive safe.

Well they won't exactly last forever, the last Mitsubishi I had had already ran over 285000 before I gave it away and they drove it least another 125000 before they wrecked it, so who knows how long it would have lasted.

So that's over 400000 miles on the one you had. For most vehicles that would be some kind of a record. I think you come close to the lasting forever mark. Lol.

Yeah but that last 200000 was a lot of irritating repairs, like seals, steering and suspension, I can't remember how many alternators it went through, but the biggest headache was the wiring, it just wasn't designed to go that long. Just before it got wrecked they told me that it was getting stress cracks in the body but I never did get to see them.

So you proved that with proper maintenance a vehicle can last for a long time. I went looking for parts cars today for my Z28 and 3000 Gt. I was astounded at how many newer model vehicles were in the junk yards with perfect bodies. Asked owner of yard why so many and he stated that most of them were there due to mechanical failure. ( improper maintence I M O). Some drivers seems to just drive them till they break then cast them aside and get another one. Keep setting a good example of what proper maintenance can do for your vehicles and drive safe.

My wife's 03 spyder gs has about the same amount. Replaced timing belt/pullies and iac other than that it still going strong. With proper maintenance you should still have plenty of life left in yours.
