How close is the timing belt to the motor oil?
I don't see oil in these videos. --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdHwmKQbFvQ --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVlwJpyH-uA
Close enough. Cam seals, oil pump seal, crankshaft seal, leaking head gasket, even seem a bad valve cover leak make it into the timing belt.
tennishshoes got it. so if you do have oil on it, its not susposed to. You would have a leak in one of the seals tennisshoes listed.
