Steering wheel turns but wheels dont what happened

Tie-Rod..or steering knuckle on steering wheel shaft.. I don't know if it has rack-and-pinion, maybe pinion gear stripped or locking key broken so gear does not turn....or something very serious like that. Have it towed to shop or dealer.

Also Alanda...this is a safety issue..what if it broke while you were driving at 70 mph? They might even fix it free
