Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2005 has 45K miles and is riding very hard, mostly in the rear, when I go over rough road. Anybody aware of a problem with the shocks?

I have a 99 Grand Marquis. You are suppose to change the shocks every 50,000 thousand miles.

their should be a on - off switch in trunk on passenfer side,if var is jacked up in rearend or put or been on a lift the switch should be turned off befor raiseing,it will blow the air ride system.if not turned off it will keep pumping air into the system.when back on ground turn it back on.this may be the reason for your hard ride.
