How to replace electrical connection on a 2002 Mercury climate control fuse.

Asked by Jun 04, 2016 at 03:38 PM about the 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis GS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This is a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis V8 with climate control heat/ac. The
blower motor keeps cutting in and out. I jiggled some wires and it cuts on
and off at the connection to the fuse block at the back near firewall, under
the heater hoses that go into the interior. Where can I get a new connection
and how hard are they to replace?
note: two years ago the blower motor quit working and I had the fuse block
replaced.

You may have to replace the block again. Maybe the blower motor is drawing too much current and burning them up. are the wires melted?
