The a/c on my 2000 Grand Marquis, while running on Max or Normal will periodically switch from blowing from the dash to Bi-level. After 10 to 45 seconds it will switch back to the dash for maybe 5 min

Sounds like the HVAC computer needs to be reset, any good shop can do this for you.
