blower motor stays on and some times goes from high to low

Usually it is the blower motor resistor that is bad.

Actually the car has an electronic blower motor speed control. It is located just to the rear of the passenger side engine cam cover on the firewall. Some parts stores call it a blower motor resistor, but that is not quite correct. The part looks like the one in the picture. Bad solder joints on the circuit board are usually the problem.
