2 things...did you purge the cooling system after refilling it? and do you notice a lot of white, sweet smelling exhaust out the tail pipe?

I did purge it and there's not a lot of sweet smelling exhaust but I did see some white smoke and water come out of the exhaust mid day

But you smell a sweet smell? That would be coolant burning off in the cylinders. Water dripping out the tail pipe is just condensation.

Yes it's kind of a sweet smell

Sounds like a head gasket then.

Ok what's the best way to confirm that so I can solve the situation

Doing a compression test on the engine will show some low cylinders, or have the cooling system pressure tested. Taking it to a shop to have it verified would be the best thing to do.

How to drain radiator

Open the pet-cock on the bottom of the radiator.
