Emergency brake

Do you really need your emergency brake on a
lincoln towncar? Im having trouble putting the car
back together.

In states that have inspections to relicense the brakes need to be working properly. On this late model it is called a parking brake, they are no longer viable in an emergency braking situation. If the brakes are assembled properly you should not be having any trouble putting it back together.
