I'm with James on this one. Used cars with one owner and low mileage vehicles are the only ones I would buy. Why start with a piece of junk to start out with? Will cost you more money to 'polish it' than it's worth.

If the rest of the car is nice I might buy one with minor body damage. I would have it looked at by a body shop and mechanic to see if there are any other issues with it.
