The switch maybe bad, but you still should be able to run it up with the master switch or the drivers door, it is rare to have both the master and the standard window switch to fail at the same time, you can try turning on the key and then hold the window switch up and slam the door hard, sometimes this will shock the motor and it will run momentarily, maybe enough to get the window closed, other wise you will have to remove the door panel and check for correct power and ground at the motor itself, if you have power and grounds and they reverse when the switch position is changed then it is a bad motor or a jammed linkage, and if it is a jammed linkage you better replace the motor at the same time or you might be right back in there doing it all over again to replace a failed motor.

Most likely the window regulator broke, you will have to take the inside door panel off to verify.
