Stock suspension is air bags type. There is a conversion kit out there.

The Town Car had air suspension stock? YIKES! No wonder I never liked the ride the few times I was in one! I thought they would be like the rest of the Panthers, and have double A-arm front with coil springs and normal shocks up front with trailing arms, coils and separate shocks in back. Getting rid of the optional air is easy as the spring perches are standard Panther, so the Crown Victoria springs and shocks drop right in.
