heres one for the record my sons 2001 town car wont start he replaced the battery,then the starter and says that when he tries to start it that all the insturment lights black out not sure???

car wont start has new starter and new battery when you turn the key all lights black out and a faint click from under the hood before this all idiot lights would stay on when you turned the key all batt cables have been checked he replaced the stereo then this happened so I had him put the original stereo back in and has the same problem  [wtf]

Major voltage drop, I would double check the cables, make sure the cable connection are shiny clean, no black corrosion, if that checks good then check the main fuses in the power distribution box.
