My 98 lincoln towncar
signature series starts great
but after awhile of driving it
feels like the fuel line is
clogged when you Come to
complete stop it starts jerking
and some times will cutt off
or it starts to shake when
holding break and act like it
wants to take off.

I had coil pack changed and gas filter, and guy I bought it from said he put new fuel pump on, what could be problem

Ok my 98 towncar runs great down the road then shuts down like no gas getting to it but then if I turn the key off and on real fast it starts running good again PLEASE HELP ME I HAVE REPLACED FUEL 1 Answer

Filter and throttle body and crank and cam sensors even replaced intake manifold the pcm and steering column and dash cluster still does same I'd there sensors on trans that could be the problem.

I have a Lincoln 1995 towncar and i want to kno if the crank sensor code shows up when its 100% not working r when its barley getting bad cus sometimes it just cranks but then it turns on and it didn' 1 Answer

The crank sensor code didn't show up but it still cranks like in 5 10 min it turns on could it be that cus is not 100% bad that wy it dont show on the codes

Hey i have a 91 town car LOVE IT taken care of well. My digital dash stared going crazy (no idea how much gas, says CO reading out on it; on off back n forth; since that a loud whistling at back tire(gas cap) and extra loud when i open trunk)! Yesterday started chugging and jumping from stop to about 50mph. any acceleration acts as tho it wants to leave me stranded! God help me(and my lincoln) if I gotta climb a hill. I replaced fuel filterand regulator, UGHHHH; she's still doing it!!! Please Help: do I need a new fuel pump only, or did my Cat.Converter go out: cuz I know nothing else to check? Cruise Control Drives it Best; doesn't seem to affect it once i get it to speed!!! Ya, I'm a chick going to do it myself with a little helpful info from here I hope (I WILL) have her fixed! THNX 2 Answers
