Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The mirrors automatic downward tilt when you put the car in reverse stopped working.  I believe it's battery controlled.

I know there is no batteries to operate the mirrors, so it would be an electrical problem you have to trace down.

check your fuses

Rowefast is right, no batteries. You must have bumped the mirror control switch. Most cars that have a tilt mirror will operate when the adjustment switch is in the left or driver position for the mirror to tilt downward on the passenger side.
