If it is what I think you are asking, (gauge still works but it wont tell you how many gallons are left?) Will it still tell you how far to empty? If not the feeding sensor needs to be replaced. Or possibly this might be built into the sending unit. I hope for you, it is a sensor. Hope this helps, best of luck

If it is not the sender, you will need to replace the cluster with a new/rebuilt unit.

Go on ebay, the sell the repair work for APP $150, It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to take the dash out and send it to the repair guys. I know i did it twice. good luck
