my check engine light keeps coming on.i restarted the battery but it continues to keep coming on i dont know if its from the catyliac converter orthe egr valves needs to be flushed and cleaned. how do i do this?

All your doing by disconnecting the battery is clearing the codes out of the PCM's memory. So something is wrong, triggering the CEL. You won't know what the exact problem is till you scan the computer for fault codes. You can purchase, rent or borrow one to tell you what codes are stored. Then you can diagnosis what those codes mean for your certain vehicle. Good Luck!

yelp my battery light keeps popping on when i press the brake when in park mode. i dont know what to do now. i also got a diagnosis done and they said its the cattlayic converter the front one and yhe egr valve need to be replaced! do you thin thats y the battery light comes on and off

The flickering battery light when the car is sitting while running often means the alternator is not putting out enough volts. A separate issue from the Catalytic convertor and EGR.
