My fan on my ES 300 is not comming on causing my car to overheat could this be a fuse or is it something more

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Fan not engaging creating the car to over heat do I need to replace a fuse or the whole fan

Check fuse first, if OK then see if the wires all look OK, but at highway speeds you don't need the fan anyway, only for idle and/or stop-and -go. My point is that if the car overheats at 60mph it's not a fan problem. NASCAR race cars do not even have a fan.

Start with the fuse if it is not blown then check the relay

Cause if you don't you'll continue spending money of replacing fuses continuously ...but you can replace it one or two times just to see if the fuse keeps throwing ,if it does theirs a short some where in the cars wiring harness
