Oil water mix in the radiator
I purchsed few days ago. suddently msg came on the panel board that coolant level is low and switch off the engine.
I check with one mechanic, he said radiator is to be changed. I do not understand the problem and how much cost of repair for the same.
That sounds like a blown head gasket, worst case scenario would be a crack in the block between an oil passage and coolant passage. Absolutely nothing to do with the radiator.
Yes you are correct. coolant pipe is burst. But if Head gasket is blown off then do I need to open the engine head and replace the gasket. But Audi mechnic is saying oil cooler valve integral part of this Audi S8 raditor is blown off. and hence raditor needs to be changed. Is it correct. waiting for reply ASAP.
That makes sense, I was just going off general engine info, the Audi tech. has info specific to that vehicle that I don't have.
With that information I don't think the head gasket would be blown in this case.
