reverse went out without any warning, all other gears work perfectly fine. i can feel it shift into reverse but no movement at all.
Check your transmission fluid level. Make sure its full and red like cherry kool-aid. If its low fill to the proper level. If its brown/black and smells burnt you might get lucky and save the transmission with a transmission flush.
transmission fluid was ok and red, didnt smell burnt. it was never sluggish or acted up at all...just all of a sudden wouldnt move. i can feel it shift but no movement..
Ok that's good. Could be the module on the side of the trans but I would have it looked at by a transmission specialist.
thank you.. i will have that checked this week..
No problem. Good luck, hopefully it's an easy fix and not a transmission rebuild. Happy Thanksgiving
