Used a different gas engine ligt came on runs different -gears

used a different gas, jeep running different then a non blinking engine light came on.  
Its a 2002 Laredo 4WD.  help?

get some of the fuel out, check for contaminants such as water and particles. If none then you may have an issue not related to fuel however more so to mileage. Fyi, to check for water just let the fuel set in a container, the fuel and water will separate
