Why can’t Jeep just fix what they messed up??

Asked by Guru9DPXY9 Nov 13, 2020 at 09:36 AM about the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I also am having this problem with my ‘02
Jeep GC Laredo 4.0 strait 6, it seems like
Jeep would have let us know the problem by
now, but I guess not... What it seems I know
from reading the miles of comments on here is
that Jeep has really crappy wiring skills,
whether it’s the wire from here to there, or the
ground to this or that, or the wires not being
big enough to run the power. I love my Jeep,
when it runs it runs like a dream, I really don’t
know how to mess with electrical stuff tho and
def ain’t gonna pay a shop to do it so I guess
I’m just gonna sell it, but then I don’t want it to
become someone else’s nightmare. My luck it
would be some teenager who bought it and I
would just be kept up at night worried about
the kid’s safety!!
Jeep just needs to boss up and let us know
what’s up, and maybe offer to fix it no matter
how old the Jeep is, why put such a good
motor woth shotty electrical issues. Such a
waist of a great engine, I truly am sad that I
won’t be driving my Jeep anymore, it’s like

The vehicle manufacturer can't be blamed for 18 years of wear and tear. Most vehicles, including yours, were designed to last for 10 years to begin with! Trade it in and be done with it! If some teenager buys it, that's not your fault or your problem. Many teenagers love to tinker with their vehicles and fix them anyhow. If any blame is to be placed it would be the teenager's parents. Hope that helps! Jim
