Hard starting issue
Recently our 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee began running rough. We turned off the car and did some shopping for about 30 minutes. When we returned the car would not start. After some time it did start so we took it to our local Jeep dealership. They have now replaced the fuel rail, the fuel pump and filter. The car now starts easier but takes several attempts to start. I'm afraid we are getting into a situation where parts are being thrown at it to "see if this will work". Any ideas?
when u get in the jeep put the key in ignition turn key but do not start try to hear if its injecting gas to the motor if not its usually the capacitors in the ecm....it takes them a bit to warm up to then activate the system it happened to me.....i fixed mine for 40 bucks instead of buying a new ecm i bought the three capacitors and replaced them and now its like new
