Can a 2wd 2002 Grand Cherokee Laredo be towed with drive wheels on the ground/front wheels on a tow dolly?
yes and yes....have seen them four wheels on the ground behind a Winnebago and with a "stiff" towbar so the jeep would not swim like a fish...recommend a two wheel car hauler to be safe~ (u-haul)~
most of these gurus will say disconnect the driveshaft at the u-joints...if a thirty mile drive would not bother...if a 300 mile drive would disconnect and wire up the driveshaft~
2wd, disconnect driveshaft. Unless eng is running. Put trans in neutral and tow away. When engine is running, there is lube being supplied to moving parts in transmission.
