Is it a growling type sound or a clunking...? Please describe a well as you can, please understand it's difficult without hearing it
A squealing noise would mean the power steering pump.
It might be a wheel bearing.
Growling is usually low power steering fluid. A clunking is a CV joint, and U-Joints have nothing to do with turning
thank you! Also blower motor doesnt work.. when the old blower motor was still in, it would seep out heat. now it doesnt. tried having someone connect the new blower motor i purchased and it didnt work... the old one was tested & there was power being drawn... ideas?
power steering fluid was checked and it was good.
Ooooh, that's a whole 'nother can of worms that could be so many things. I defer to Full_of_Regrets, the man knows what he is talking about and please forgive me it's late and I'm getting weary-eyed
The turning AND growling is what makes me think it might be a wheel bearing. Good luck!
One final thought. If it makes that noise when turning the wheel while the car is not moving then it could be the power steering. If it is quiet when turning and not moving then I suspect the bearings. Jack up the car and wiggle the front wheels side to side and top to bottom and if you feel play then the bearings have a problem.
A left turn would mostly likely mean the right front wheel bearing if it is that at all.
