do i need a new motor if the timing chain broke on my jeep.
No as long as you haven't broken or bent any ofyiur rods. If the belt or chain broke and nothing else then NO
Thank you this guy told me it will be cheaper to buy an engine then to fix jeep.
F HIM !
Some vehicles have a belt that is supposed to be changed every 50,000 miles. Some engines sell destruct if you don't do this because the valves will hit the top of the pistons. My daughter had a 4 cylinder mustang and the belt broke. New belt and ran another 100,000 miles and gave it up because the rest of the car was disintegrating: seats, door seals, etc.
