I have a '99 grand Cherokee limited.
It has a nasty noise coming from the
driveshaft in the front. I think that I
need to replace the cv joint in it. First
can I remove the driveshaft and still
have the vehicle drivable? It is full
time 4 wheeldrive. Also do I have to
replace the whole shaft or just the
no. you have to have d shaft in. If not, you will burn up the clutches in t-case.
I think they make a repair kit for them
if the ball stud yolk is still good rebuildable if not exschange it at my shop
